Derick was the king of the family. Though his parents weren't well-off, he could get whatever he wanted most of the time. He got to eat whatever he wanted, got to buy whatever toys he wanted and even got to sleep in the best room in the house. He shared the queen-sized bed in the masterbed room with his parents. He was allowed to do whatever he wanted except helping out in the house. He wasn't allowed to touch the broom nor was he allowed to touch any of the oily crockery or dirty laundry. In fact, in the eyes of his parents he was born to be served and not to serve.

Derick spent a large part of his time at home in his parents' room, watching TV in the comfort of the bed and aircon. There were times when his mother would undress and change in his presence. To her, he was still too young to understand anything and she wouldn't even think twice about having their bath together. But as he grew older, she allowed him to shower himself when he insisted as he wanted to play in the tub. However, she would continue to dress and undress him. Sometimes, in the night when his parents thought that Derick was already fast asleep, they would carry out their 'act of love' with him lying beside them. At times, Derick who was awaken by the commotion, would pretend to sleep while catching his parents in their act. Soon, Derick was actually staying awake just to watch them perform. Sad to say but all those 'indecent' exposures had a lasting side effect on the developing mind of the youngster.

When Derick was in kindergarten, he wouldn't hesitate to lift the skirt of his female classmates. Once, he even crawled under his teacher's skirt. Though, the teacher did inform his mother of his inappropriate behaviour, she would just brush it off as he being playful and nothing unusual. When he tried the same prank in P1, he was being punished by the teacher. But instead of being apologetic, his mother said that his teacher had make a mountain out of a molehill. She complained that the teacher was being biased against her son who was not only a bright child but also a good-looker. She made such a fuss at the office that teachers were being advised not to punish him but to keep him away from the gals as far as possible. Derick didn't really understand the tension he had caused by his curiosity but he seemed to enjoy the attention he was attracting. Somehow, he wasn't been isolated for long as he never failed to have the kids - both boys and gals, around him with his generous sharing of candies and goodies.

When he was in P4, Derick became bolder. And instead of lifting skirts, he progressed to peeping under them. He would station himself at the bottom of stairs landing and would look up whenever a skirt wearer walked down the stairs. Sometimes, he would even play guessing game with his friends - predicting the colour of the panties being worn. They started off playing it in school to their female classmates and teachers. Soon they got bored and decided to bring the 'game' out of school so as to increase the variety. Unlike in school when they would be more discreet when playing the game, they were more daring playing it in public. They would shout out their guesses and would cheer out loud when they got a hit. Sometimes when they were caught in the act, they would just blurt out the colour of the undies before fleeing the scene. Most of the time, the victims would be too embarrassed to make a police report. Those who did make a report weren't able to tell the police much as they were caught off guard and didn't have a good look at the culprits.
